All About Eve

My beautiful daugther Eve:

Day 1, about 20 minutes old:

Pop it in to the oven at gas mark 4 for 60 minutes:

Get used to this, there’s going to be a lot of winding to be done.  Or just get Infacol…:

Daddy’s little girl.  I’m sooo proud of her:

Not quite 2 days old and wearing her Sunday best.  Which’ll be her Sunday best for about 2 weeks until she grows out of it.  At the time my Sister bought this for her, several months ago, we thought, looking at it that night, that it’d be too small for our baby.  Little did we know just how small Eve would be.  Too big for her initially, fitted her like a glove a couple of days after she was born, and now, 3 weeks old, and this has been consigned to the growing pile of clothes which no longer fit.  Isn’t she beautiful:

Cheeeeese:

All packed up and ready to head home from the hospital.  Eve’s first foray out in to the big, bad, and at the time bloody freezing, world:

The Cot that Opa Restored.  Or The Cot that Passed Through Time.  With the Donkey that Passed Through Time.  Apparently I was the last inhabitant of this cot, when it was painted white, and I was the last owner of the corduroy Donkey when there was more cord on it.  Opa did a superb job restoring the cot, Oma did a superb job washing and freshening up Donkey:

Proud, beautiful Judy, in the nursery with Eve:

Opa with Eve.  Do you think he’s a bit happy?

Team POM.  Go Team POM!!!!

Bath time.  Tryin’ on the cute face for the camera.

Nanny Oscar checking on his little charge:

Jack’s not too bothered.  So long as he’s warm and comfortable…..:

Somewhere in there is an Eve.  First real outting in the big bad world outside.  OK, so it was only Boutique Du-Nes, but it was a big deal for mummy and daddy:

Putting on the cutie face AGAIN.  This time in arty B & W:

First time in a dress.  Pink.  Of course.  I can see my life turning into one pink outfit after another.  Eve is gorgeous though:

Honorary Uncle Haaris with Eve or Crazy Monkey with Eve, you decide:

Girl talk:

Honorary Aunty Camel:

Reach out and touch someone:

Who, me?  You mean this isn’t my new bed?  But it’s soooo cosy, especially with this furry blanket under me.  Huh, what’s a pram suit?

Aunty Marlen meet Eve.  Eve meet your Aunty Marlen.  Eve feeling comfy in Marlen’s arms:

Tanis with little Eve:

And now finally, photos of Granny P.  Maura on a visit from Cork to Quin to see beautiful Eve:

Ruth meeting Eve for the first time:

Simply The Coolest Hat in the world.  Pressie from Aunty Camel, bought from Marian Cobbe’s shop, Toka, in Westport.  Cool cardi and pants to go with it – photos to follow once Eve fits in to them :o)

One possible choice for Eve’s christening.  Whenever that happens. Wondering whether they’ll allow me through the church doors….

Several months later, Eve’s first day on a beach (not in a buggy that is).
